With its 69 slopes spread over more than 300 hectares, the Grand Tourmalet is the largest ski resort in the French Pyrenees. There are special areas for beginners (with green and blue runs over a distance of 11km) who can also have fun on the fun trail or in the “new glides” area, while thrill-seekers can indulge in the joys of freeride. The Grand Tourmalet is also two places to stay with different atmospheres: the charm and authenticity of a Pyrenean village in Barèges or La Mongie, directly at the foot of the slopes.
So hop onto your skis, snowboard or snow scooter and set off to explore Grand Tourmalet’s 100 km worth of runs! You’ll be able to ski all day without ever going through the same place twice, against scenic backdrops each more beautiful than the last… Whether you’re a beginner, slick skier or mountain expert, one thing’s for sure: you’ll be captivated by the magic of this resort.
