Maier Sports has become part of the newly launched Compass Group that includes a number of other brands such as UYN, Dolomite and Eddie Bauer. Specialist plus size retailer Vampire Outdoor Gear has recently introduced Maier Sports to its growing collection and it’s already proving to be one of the best-selling brands. The Maier Sports ‘perfect fit’ promise offers a huge amount of larger size options across both men’s and women’s outdoor trousers and jackets, making it an ideal partner for a retailer that specialises in outdoor clothing for people with bigger bodies.

Founder of Vampire Outdoor Gear, Rebecca Dawson, said: “A particular benefit of adding Maier Sports products to our range is the different-shaped cut in women’s jackets, compared to other plus size brands that we stock. This gives plus size customers greater choice, and helps to provide something for every shape and size. Also, the addition of men’s jackets and trousers in larger sizes from them means we can now offer something for everyone who has a larger body”.
